في إطار المتابعة المسّتمرة التي تقوم بها قطعات قوى الأمن الداخلي لمكافحة جميع أنواع الجرائم ومنها سرقة أسلاك وكابلات كهربائية عن الشبكة العامّة والهاتف.
بتاريخ 17-5-2023 وفي محلة سقي التبانة، ونتيجة الاستقصاءات والتحريات المكثّفة، تمكّنت عناصر مفرزة استقصاء الشمال في وحدة الدرك الإقليمي، من توقيف المدعو:
خ. ق. (مواليد عام 2000، لبناني)
بالجرم المشهود أثناء نقله كابلات عائدة لشبكة الهاتف ومحاولة بيعها، وضبطت /350/ كلغ تقريباً من الكابلات تُقَدَّر قيمها بحوالى /2,500/ دولار أميركي، وأدوات يستعملها في عمليات السرقة وسيارة رباعية الدفع نوع “BMW X5” لون أسود دون لوحات.
بالتحقيق معه، اعترف أنه يقوم بالاشتراك مع آخرين بسرقة الكابلات عن الشبكة العامّة والهاتف بشكل متكرّر، ويقومون بحرقها وتقطيعها تمهيدًا لبيعها.
كما تبيّن أنه من أصحاب السوابق بجرائم سرقة وضرب وايذاء وإقلاق راحة.
سُلِّمَت المضبوطات إلى مؤسسة أوجيرو، وأودع الموقوف القضاء المختص، بناء على إشارته، والعمل مستمر لتوقيف باقي المتورطين.
